A lovely mid 18th century yew wood goblet, having a top with a B moulded edge, slender stem and a ring turned and concave stepped and rounded foot. It has pole lathe turnings and a concave recess under the foot, which is one of the hallmarks of good quality. The whole has excellent grain, colour and patination.
