A rare and fine quality 18th century Georgian solid mahogany cribbage board of the Chippendale Period, having a flat score board with an acorn finial. At one end it has a rectangular box with blind fret carving on all sides, with a well fitting matching oak lined drawer at the end, retaining its original small brass knob handle. This contains four bone scoring pegs and a Tattersalls Booklet of cribbage rules. The whole has a lovely dark rich colour and original patination.
