A most unusual engine turned ebony lidded spice pot, having a lid with a knob finial that is seated on a bowl shaped base, which in turn sits on a further pedestal support with a spreading foot. The whole has been engine turned with an extremely detailed design throughout, and has a dark rich colour retaining a patination.
