A beautiful Rolex Air-King from 1969 with a stunningly gorgeous blue dial. The self-winding movement is housed in a 14k yellow gold case with a screw-down back and screw-down winder. The riveted Rolex bracelet is also 14k and original to the watch.
First released in 1945, the Air King is one of the longest continuously manufactured models within the Rolex range. It is the only remaining watch in production from the original "Air Series", which included the Air Lion, Air Giant, and Air Tiger, all created to honour the RAF pilots of the Battle of Britain. The Air King has become a highly prized collector's piece.
