An elegant late Georgian Regency Pearl 5 Stone Ring.
This wonderful ring has 5 natural pearls set in a classic design. The shoulders are beautifully figured with a finely scrolled floral design which is echoed in engraving around the shank.
In common with the late Regency period the ring is closed to the reverse and low set to the hand.
We believe the pearls are original to the ring and are a warm ivory colour - they are well matched and in excellent condition with no cracks or discoloration other than in line with gentle wear over the years.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and condition are increasingly hard to find.
Price Code: C, £1000 - £2500.
Era: Georgian, 1714 - 1837.
Measurements: The head of the ring is 5.3 mm wide.
Ring Size: M1/2 (UK) 6 3/4 (US) 53 (EUR) This ring cannot be sized.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 18ct gold.
