A fine Regency mahogany stand or low table; the pillars in simulated rosewood with brass collars and superb carved scroll feet with inset castors.
Probably made to display an Arita bowl with pot pourri, but now with a piece of marble let into the top.
Note the three holes in the frieze - probably for brass straps holding the bowl in position.
