A very good quality Regency mahogany dwarf open bookcase, having extremely well figured top and frieze over two fixed shelves. With four elegant reeded upright supports, terminating on original turned feet. 

This elegant open bookcase, which was made in the Regency period, is a really classy and smart piece of furniture. 

It is a great size and offers a huge amount of storage and versatility, whilst at the same time being a particularly elegant addition to a room. 

Overall, the quality of the timbers used and construction is excellent and the reeded upright supports are an excellent feature. 

The bookcase is perfect for a downstairs hallway, office, study, dining room, living room, bedroom or even on a landing. it can be used for its original purpose of the storage of books, or even for displaying items which one would like on view around the house. 

As with all items which we offer for sale it has been attended to in our workshops by our well trained, traditional specialist antique furniture restorers, where it has received a natural wax polish ensuring that it is ready for immediate placement in the home or office.
