A Very Good Quality Early 19th Century Regency Period Mahogany Dressing Table, Having Well Figured Top Over Five Drawers With Replacement Brass Knobs, Raised On Elegant Fine Turned And Reeded Legs, Retaining Original Brass Castors.

Dating to the Regency period in the early 19th century this georgian dressing table is of attractive, elegant design and constructed from high quality mahogany timber.

A most functional piece of furniture indeed it is perfect for a whole host of different functions and spaces around the home, including of course its original purpose as a bedroom, or dressing room, table with a stool or chair pulled up to it and an elegant dressing table mirror on top.

Despite the brass knobs being replacements they work well on the table and very much add to the overall elegance and quality feel of the table.

There is no major defects, or damage to speak of aside from the expected old marks and scuffs which now of course blend nicely into the surface of the piece.

It retains a quite superb untouched colour and patina and as with all items which we offer for sale it has received an inspection by our highly skilled, specialist antique furniture restorers in our workshops, as well as a traditional wax polish before being offered for sale, ensuring that it is ready for immediate placement into the home or office.
