Regency Convex Mirror with Eagle Surmount and Candle Sconces.
A fine Regency period giltwood convex mirror with carved eagle surmount, perched on a raised platform flanked by carved oak leaves. The reeded ebony sight edge surrounded by gilt balls, with tied leaf pelmet below. Fitted with original scrolled arms supporting a pair of (replaced) brass candle sconces. Diameter of mirror 15 inches / 19 cms. Maximum protrusion of sconces from wall 8 inches / 20 cms.
