A very fine large size George III Silver Wine Coaster made in London in 1778 by Thomas Daniel. The coaster is in neo-classical taste with a beaded border and typical Robert Adam style motifs and is engraved to one side with the original owners initials. The whole coaster is in excellent condition including the original turned wood insert. The coaster measures a large 15.1 cms diameter ( 5.945 inches)
