The octagonal faceted tapering column with acanthus capital below the telescopic extension, raised on a foliate capped socle and square canted base with rocaille cast scrolled feet, the cast iron slug to the underside cast with the maker's? initials R.B.

Condition report

Minor wear and tear consistent with age and use. The original oil? lamp fitment that would have screwed into the top of the extending arm now bereft. No other obvious issues.
