A good quality, twentieth century bronze model of a 'Parakeet' by Edouard-Marcel Sandoz (Swiss, 1880-1971). This sculpture was cast in bronze by the lost wax process at the Susse Freres Foundry, Paris, France. This cast has a warm brown patina with reddy brown highlights.
