A Pair of Sycamore Cawl Bowls, mid 19th century.
Formerly with metal bands around the rims. Each with a pleasing warp and a rich honey coloured patina. It is unusual to find a pair of this type, probably forming part of a much larger set, possibly used in an institution such as a school or monastery.
