Pair Of Regency Mahogany Side Chairs.

An Extremely Attractive Mahogany Pair Of Early 19th Century, Regency Period Side Chairs, Of Unusual Design In The Manner Of George Bullock, Having Rich Carved Decoration With Ebonised Detailing To Caned Panel Backs, Over Scrolling Upholstered Seats, Raised On Elegant Sabre Legs With Reeded Decoration.

This fabulous quality pair of side chairs exude sophistication, class and elegance, The design is relatively unusual and we think heavily influenced by the well known furniture maker and designer of the time George Bullock.

The intricacy of the detail to the backs is really quite marvellous, with great depth of carving and elegant canework decoration. This is further enhanced by the ebonised inlay decoration throughout and the reeded decoration within the bold sabre legs.

These chairs are absolutely perfect for many, many places around the home or office, far too many to list here in fact. But to mention just a few, we think they would be great in a bedroom, entrance hall or even on a landing. Its also worth bearing in mind that they are perfectly functional as proper dining chairs.

As with all items which we offer for sale they have been inspected in our workshops by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers, plus received a natural wax polish to ensure that they are ready for immediate placement within the home before being offered for sale.
