Rare Piero Fornasetti Pair of Plates with Fish Decoration - Pesci pattern.

1960s.

Pottery.

The plates depict two different schools of fish swimming together across the plate.

Each plate is numbered- the green-red school is # 2 and the yellow is # 3.

Reference: Fornasetti: Designer of Dreams, Patrick Mauriès, page 264, #164, where the pattern is illustrated.

Condition- no restoration just a small amount of typical rubbing.
