A Pair of Marquess of Clanricarde de Burgh-Canning Carriage Badges.

Each gilt metal armorial designed as the coat of arms de Burgh-Canning for Ullick John de Burgh, 1st Marquess of Clanricade (1802-1874) created Knight of St Patrick in 1831.

Conjoined with those of his wife Harriet (1804-1874), daughter of George Canning (1770-1827), foreign secretary and later prime minister, shields supported by chained leopards, later mounted and framed.
