Fine pair of George III Sheraton Period figured mahogany knife boxes with striking boxwood stringing, silver plated mounts and the original fitted interiors. We have never seen serpentine sides on a knife box before and together with the serpentine fronts, the boxes have an interesting shape.
Circa 1790.
