This exceptional pair of George III Antique Silver Goblets have a plain circular bell shaped form to a waisted pedestal standing on a square base.
The upper rim is embellished with an engraved band of foliate ornamentation interspersed with a stylized bird possibly an eagle.The circular feet are ornamented with bands of a leaf decoration .They are both in excellent condition.
The goblets are also engraved with a cartouche containing the initials E C A. Height 6.69 inches, 17cm, width of bowl 3.54 inches, 9cm, base 3.34 inches 8.5 cm . Capacity 511ml each.
