A handmade pair of cast silver candlesticks in the Georgian style made in 1970 by William Walter of London. This fine pair was part of a few pairs commissioned by my Grandfather in 1970 after a pair of originals by William Cafe of 1757 (see pictures). They are of very fine quality and they were made slightly more than 10 percent heavier than the originals - each one bears a very tiny Hebrew inscription which is almost unnoticeable (very small religious inscriptions were used in the late 1969s and early 1970s as silver made for religious use escaped the heavy purchase tax of that period). They are of superb quality and in excellent condition with a height of 8.75 inches (22.2cms) and a combined weight of just shy of 40 Troy ounces.

Open Monday-Friday 9.30-5.30; Saturday 9.30-12.30
