A good pair of antique silver wine/decanter coasters made in London in 1820 by Crispin Fuller. The coasters bear the family crest of an heraldic tiger passant as used by several families (see list in pictures)to the hallmarked silver centre boss. The coasters are attractively fluted and have a gadroon border and still retain their original oak bases. They were made in the year George III died and the year that George IV ascended to the throne. They are in excellent condition with very good hallmarks ( not always the case with old wine coasters)and interestingly one coaster has been struck with Crispin Fullers makers mark twice.
