A monumental chandelier constructed with a crome plated superstructure supporting six concentric rings of pressed glass pendants of various sizes.
The chandelier is one of a pair that were originally commissioned by Michael Inchbald for the QE2 in the late 1960s from the makers Darlington crystal.
After several years they were later removed during one of the many refits that the vessel undertook. The chandelier was then installed at the Grand hotel in Torquay until the late 1980s, Where it was then acquired by the Moorlands House hotel in Haytor and hung until the present day.
