Mahogany Longcase Clock, Maidstone, Kent.

An especially fine late eighteenth century mahogany cased longcase clock by THOMAS SUTTON of MAIDSTONE. The painted dial with ached top having a seconds-ring and central date hand. Unusually high quality having a premium movement with brass cased weights and pendulum and contained in a very high-class case with superb flame-figured mahogany.
