A rare set of 18 Table knives and 18 Table forks bearing the crest of The Maharajah of Baroda made in Paris in first standard silver (.950 purity ) by Tetard Freres of Paris. The Maharajah purchased these as part of a much larger order at the Paris Exposition of 1925 which essentially introduced Art Moderne (Art Deco) to the public. They are each numbered indicating that there were probably 72 of each originally (I have numbers 2-72 and various numbers in between). The forks and the knives would have been used at his home The Laxmi Vilas Palace in Varodrar (Baroda).(Can be divided into smaller quantities on request).
