Magnificent Large Antique Silver Centrepiece Bowl.
An Edwardian Silver Two –handled vase/rose bowl of classic urn form with bifurcated foliate embellished scroll handles.
The cast body is waisted with anthemion scroll on a matted ground above lobbying, gadrooned spreading circular base.
The interior of the bowl is gilt. The panelled square pedestal stand is engraved on three sides with a scene, depicting a town church, a coastal castle, a lighthouse and one side is vacantMaker: CHARLES STUART HARRIS, LONDON 1904.The scenes depict Carrickfergus Castle- St Nicholas Church Carrickfergus and the Chaine Tower. This would look wonderful either as a centrepiece for flowers fruit or wine.
