With the figure of Aurora (Goddess of dawn) resting on clouds holding a bird from the clutches of a cat who is held by an Amor also resting on clouds surrounding the white dial of the clock signed by Beffara A Paris. The works of the clock resting on a white marble base containing ormolu panels of leaf and flower decoration along with a garland of flowers. The base is supported by six circular tapering feet. With a two-train movement striking on the hour and half hour and with an eight-day movement.
