Late 19th century Victorian leather upholstered drop arm sofa standing on mahogany bun feet.
English 1880-1900
A good quality two seater sofa having a shaped sprung back with scrolled and individual brass studded arms with sprung seat raised on plinths and turned mahogany bun feet and castors. The right-handed arm being drop arm having a racketed mechanism allowing the user to have various positions to suit.
This sofa is very comfortable having been fully upholstered with a quality russet leather hide which is then hand dyed using a traditional method.
