A superb quality George III period Mahogany Bowfront Chest, having superbly figured and inlaid crossbanded top.

Over four long cedar lined drawers with replacement brass oval plate handles, raised on elegant original splay feet with shaped apron.

A practical, stylish and functional chest of drawers, this is actually surprisingly good quality.

Much better quality in fact than the many, many similar looking ones which you will find from throughout the later 19th century.

None of those however will have the elegance of this piece, the fine inlaid decoration and the cedar wood lined drawers, which still function beautifully due to being cedar wood of course.

The perfect size for a huge variety of functions around the home, it's impossible to go wrong with this beautiful piece no matter what your intended purpose for it.

Circa 1800.

Height - 36in.
Width - 36in.
Depth - 20.5in.
