Victorian Silver Book Vinaigrette.
A very fine and rare large Victorian silver vinaigrette in the form of a book made in Birmingham in 1861 by Charles Washington Shirley Deakin.
The vinaigrette is far larger than normal with a length of 5.2 cms.
The box is beautifully engraved with a floral design to both sides and to one side the original owners initials to the cartouche.
The box is in excellent condition. A very fine and rare size book vinaigrette.
