A large gothic revival brass altar cross set with stone cabochons, the pierced base with lion paw feet & engraved ‘IN MEMORY OF THE MISSION 1884’. The central cabochon is quartz, the bottom & left of serpentine, the top & right are later composite replacements. There are remnants of original gilding. English, c.1884. Measures 93cm high.
