Large Collection of Glass Fishing Floats, circa 1910.

Rare, large collection of green, black and clear glass fishing floats or buoys with the makers marks for small nets circa 1910.

Displaying a variety of makers marks and symbols such as anchors, numbers etc.
Sizes vary as below, they are all handmade and the colour tones vary also.

3 x diameter 20cm.
25 x diameter 12cm.
2 x 7 diameter 7cm.

Exuding character and injecting atmosphere and conversation.
The idiosyncrasies within the glass make them interesting and more valuable to collectors.
Can be group in displays placed in the home or the garden.
Used by fishermen during the first half of the 20th century as illustrated in Edward Wadworths’s paintings during the 1920s and 1930s.
Exceptional original condition, glass and netting.
