An Impressive Italian Carved Giltwood Centre Table With a Verde Antico Marble Top.
Italian, Circa 1860.
The table has a shaped apron with diapered panels centred by an exuberent ‘C’-scroll and scallop shell cartouche with foliate garlands. It is raised on four fronded acanthus carved scrolling legs with pad and block feet; the legs united by a corresponding carved giltwood undertier.
