THE MOULDED TOP NOW HINGED ABOVE A THREE PANELLED FRONT CARVED WITH ENRICHED PARCHEMIN PANELS ABOVE A SHAPED APRON WITH CROSS DECORATION, THE SIDES CARVED WITH HORIZONTAL LINENFOLD. VERY FEW EXAMPLES OF THIS EARLY FORM OF COUNTER TABLE HAVE SURVIVED AND FEW RETAIN THERE ORIGINAL SLIDING TOPS, AS WITH NEARLY ALL THE SURVIVING EXAMPLES THE SLIDING BEARERS HAVE DISAPPEARED AND THE TOPS ARE NEARLY ALL NOW HINGED AS WITH THIS EXAMPLE.
