A rare hallmarked silver vesta box made in 1925 by William Haseler of Birmingham. The box has beautiful turned decoration and the initial M to the cartouche . Inside it is struck made in England which often indicates it was made for export. This was made in the year of the 1925 Paris exhibition when what is now known as Art Deco was introduced to the public so this might have been made as an exhibit .The box opens up for the matches and has the striker on the end.
