Green Glass Fishing Float circa 1910.

A rare, green glass and rope fishing float or buoy from a collection of similar floats of different sizes, there are four this size and some smaller.

Exuding character and injecting atmosphere and conversation.

The idiosyncrasies within the glass make them interesting and more valuable to collectors.

Can be placed in the home or the garden.

The green glass ball is covered in ropework to protect it.

Used by fishermen during the first half of the 20th century as illustrated in Edward Wadworths’s paintings during the 1920s and 1930s.

Exceptional original condition, glass and netting.
