The "Frissons d'or secret watch" model is an a-symmetric chevron-shaped 18-carat gold bracelet with a discretely hidden Omega watch. This timeless classic three-dimensional design from 1968 is beautiful, both feminine and bold.
The celebrated Swiss designer Gilbert Albert designed many original watches for Patek Philippe and later for Omega before focussing on jewellery.
For this bracelet watch, he took inspiration from specific mineral formations, Fulgurites, nicknamed "fossilized lightning".Fulgurites (from the Latin fulgur meaning thunderbolt) are natural hollow glass tubes formed when lightning strikes the sand. Their shape reflects beneath the surface the way the lightning discharges into the ground.
Brushed gold dial with applied black baton index hour indication, signed Omega, mechanical movement calibre 640 winding crown on the case back. The movement has been serviced and is running reliably. Mineral glass.
