Georgian Semi Elliptical Mahogany Side Cupboard.

An attractive George III period, mahogany, semi elliptical shaped side cupboard or cabinet. Having two panelled cupboard doors enclosing fixed shelves, flanked by panelled sides. Raised on elegant original square tapered feet.

An elegant and useful piece of 18th century furniture, this side cabinet is as useful around the home, or office, as the day it was made.

Dating to the late 18th century, it has been constructed from good quality mahogany and is of very solid construction.

The semi eliptical shape is most unusual and in our opinion is quite a nice variation on the much more typically found demi lune shape.

As with all the items which we offer for sale this Georgian cupboard has been attended to in our workshops, by our highly skilled antique furniture restorers, where it has received a natural wax polish in the traditional manner leaving it ready for immediate use.

There is a huge amount of spaces which we think this piece would add both elegance and function to, with the added bonus of knowing that you are putting something nearly 250 years old back to good use.
