Georgian Ruby and Pearl Ring circa 1810.
An elegant Georgian ruby and pearl ring.
This beautiful ring has a central ruby in a cut down setting surrounded with 4 large seed pearls each set with a ruby between.
The ring has intricate detailing with acanthus leaf engraved shoulders it is in beautiful condition.
The ring would have originally had a locket back to the reverse of the head which has sadly long gone.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this wonderful condition are increasingly hard to find.
Era: Georgian, 1714 - 1837.
Measurements: The ring measures 10mm in width.
Ring Size: N (UK) 7 (US) 54 (EUR) This ring can be resized slightly by our goldsmith with an additional charge for the engraving.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as over 18ct gold.
