A fabulous Georgian memorial ring with a difference.

This wonderfully historic ring celebrates the memory of Thomas Green who died in December 1801 at the age of 69. This is detailed in a black enamel border around a hair set locket centre with includes his initials in gold. The reverse of the wide shank has a further inscription to his wife Mary Green who died 22nd Dec 1797 at the age of 75. The engraving is in fantastic condition.

The ring has very slight damage to the enamel and visible join marks to the reverse consistent with age.
