A very fine quality George III period Mahogany Cheval Dressing Mirror, having extremely elegant turned supports enclosing swing frame.

With replaced mirror plate flanked by ormolu candle arms raised on four sabre legs with original brass castors.

Everybody needs at least one full length dressing mirror in their home and that’s exactly what this is, with an adjustable swing plate which allows you to angle the mirror into the perfect position.

This particular mirror is very elegant and not overpoweringly large like some. It is also superb quality, constructed from rich, dense, mahogany.

It retains its original brass knobs which are used to adjust the mirror, and its original brass castors.

Despite almost certainly being later replacements, the ormolu candle arms also sit very nicely indeed on the piece.

Circa 1800.

Height - 60in.
Width - 31in.
Depth - 25in.
