An unusal Georgian brooch set with a chrysoprase and diamond set shamrock.
The chrysoprase is cut into heart shaped cabochons and is a pretty pale green in colour. These are surrounded by small diamonds around a diamond centre. The shamrock has a diamond set stem and is silver fronted with a gold reverse, typical of the era.
The brooch has indistinct numbers to one side of the knife edge bar and a stock style pin.
