George III period mahogany bell-top bracket clock by McCabe of London.
The eight-day striking movement fitted with an arched and painted enamel dial, in a fine quality case with gilded brass scrollwork spandrels and ogee bracket feet. With a pull-repeat mechanism.
Several makers called McCabe are recorded working in London at this period with a high reputation.
