A walnut marquetry long-case clock with a bow-fronted glass lenticle; a 12” dial and an internal counter wheel; 8-day hour striking movement by R Thach(k) of London*. Both the works and case in good condition; a lovely early clock. Circa 1685/90.
*apprenticed in 1681 and a Freeman of the Clock-makers Company from 1689 until 1706.
