A superb George III mahogany three pillar dining table with original leaves; the well figured mahogany top with original D ends raised on handsome pedestal with a boldly turned stem and raised on a reeded four splay base which terminates in the original brass lion paw castors.
Circa 1800.
The construction of this dining table is unusually sophisticated: each of the leaves is suppported by bearers which prevents sagging in the middle of the dining table and it can be shrunk down to the size of a small circular breakfast table incorportating to the two D ends on a central pillar base.
This dining table will comfortably seat 14 people.
