George III Mahogany Sideboard in the manner of Gillows.
A grand scale 18th century George III period flamed mahogany sideboard.
The tambour doors to the superstructure slide open to reveal cupboard space and sit below the original brass gallery. The mahogany inset panels that flank the superstructure are highly figured with vertical flamed mahogany panels.
The two short oak lined drawers are fitted with the original gilt brass lion paw handles with bow-fronted figured and fielded panelled cupboard doors.
The six tapered ringed turned mahogany legs stand below twinned vertical raised panels. The apron conceals a stunning book matched flamed figured veneer drawer that pulls out to reveal a large cutlery drawer.
