A George III mahogany bureau bookcase of fine proportion and rich colour, the moulded cornice above two glazed doors with geometric tracery, retaining the original glass and further crossbanded in mahogany. The fall front decorated with a stylised key pattern in ebony with original gilt brass handles decorated with thistles, opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers, above panelled lower doors that open to a fitted interior of drawers, one a double drawer with storage for nine bottles, all retaining the original gilt swan neck handles, standing on elegant bracket feet.
