England, circa 1730.
A fine large George II solid walnut stool of rectangular shape, with drop-in upholstered seat and standing on bold cabriole legs carved to the reverse of knees with scrolls and terminating in pad feet. The seat upholstered in fine 18th century French floral needlepoint.
