A fine George II silver salver made in London in 1744 by Robert Abercrombie.The salver is in very fine condition with a lovely patina and stands on four hoof feet.There is a delicate shell design to the border and is made by an excellent maker who specialised in salvers and waiters .Robert Abercrombie is sometimes spelled Abercromby.
