George II Silver Salver 1735 Dennis Langton of London.

A very good early eighteenth century salver with ‘Chippendale or Piecrust’ border made in London in 1735 by Dennis Langton. The salver stands on four bold scroll feet and is in very fine condition with a lovely patina. This is about as early a date as one usually finds a salver and this is a lovely example by a maker who specialised in the making of salvers.
