A fine and rare early 18th century burr walnut veneered blanket chest in well-used un-restored, Counrty House condition. The top with moulded edge above the rectangular carcass, he sides fitted with the original engraved brass, heavy-weight carry handles.
Veneered all round in lovely burr walnut.
Nearly 300 years old with numerous battle-scars and delapidations including knocks and bumps and scrapes, chips, splits and veneer losses. Interior tray missing.
