A handsome George II mahogany chest of drawers; the well figured top above a brushing slide and four graduated drawers with pierced fretwork handles; raised on bracket feet.

Circa:1740.

This Georgian chest is of great quality: the cabinet-maker has used fine Cuban mahogany with oak drawer linings in its construction. He has also crossgrain veneered between the drawers to pull the eye up and increase the elegant appearance of this Georgian chest.
